Bio

Jean-François Gallouïn joined AGF Private Equity in 2005 and focuses mainly on the software industry. He led AGF Private Equity's investments in MeilleureGestion and Talend and follows the investment in Vizelia. He sits on the boards of those three companies as well as the one of Cryolog. Jean-François teaches at the Ecole Centrale de Paris, where he is responsible for developing the entrepreneurship education program. Previously Jean-François was the founder and chairman of Métaphora SA, an IT service company created in 1995, specialized in change management, and sold to Business & Decision in 2005. From 1990 to 1995, Jean-François was Managing Director at Nat Systems, a software publisher that he grew from 1.5 million to 23 million euros in revenues. Jean-François began his career in 1985, working for four years as a consultant at GSI-Tecsi and then for three years as a sales engineer at IBM France. Holds a DEA (postgraduate diploma) in IT and Artificial Intelligence from the University of Orsay, France. Spent two years at the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University, where he collaborated on research work.
