Adam Weene serves as Managing Director, Private Equity of Saban Capital Group. In this role, Mr. Weene identifies, evaluates, and executes private equity investment opportunities. Mr. Weene has played a key role on behalf of Saban in the acquisition of Paul Frank Industries, the acquisition of The Power Rangers from The Walt Disney Company, and the sale of the controlling interest in ProSiebenSat.1 to private equity firms KKR and Permira. Mr. Weene's experience prior to Saban Capital includes overseeing business development and strategic planning for the private equity-backed cable network The Tennis Channel. Prior to this, Mr. Weene evaluated acquisitions, partnerships, and strategic initiatives for The Walt Disney Company in his role within Disney's Strategic Planning and Corporate Development department. Mr. Weene also worked in private equity for Electra Fleming where he focused on investing in middle market companies in a wide range of industries and in mergers and acquisitions advisory for The Bridgeford Group. Mr. Weene holds a BA in Economics with honors from Harvard University and an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management from Wharton Business School.
