Bio

Although Betty joined Glynn Capital Management LLC in 2001, she followed the company's growth and success for over fifteen years prior to that as the tax CPA working on the Glynn account. She maintains her financial and tax responsibilities for the company, including its investment partnerships. Responsibilities include financial statement preparation, tax compliance, tax planning, and addressing clients' tax questions related to investment partnerships.She left her San Francisco CPA firm partnership, where she headed the tax department and worked in the fields of individual, corporate, partnership, estate, and fiduciary taxation, to raise her two daughters. She also worked at Alexander Grant & Company (now Grant Thornton) and at the Bank of America, where she was responsible for the bank's federal tax return. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of California at Berkeley. Two years later, upon passing all four parts of the CPA examination at her first sitting, she became a certified public accountant. She subsequently earned a Master's degree in taxation from Golden Gate University.
