Cam Reese joined EIF in 1994 and served as the Assistant Controller (1994-2000) and the Controller (2000-2010). In these positions she was responsible for maintaining the systems of financial control and reporting for all EIF entities. This includes developing and implementing financial policies in the areas of accounting and financial reporting, tax, treasury and budgeting. She also had responsibility for the coordination of all audit and tax work performed by EIF’s “Big Four” accounting firms, as well as the timely delivery of audited financial statements, tax returns and quarterly reports to EIF’s investors. As a Senior Vice President, Ms. Reese works closely with EIF’s fundraising and marketing group, providing many of EIF’s financial due diligence materials, and with the investment and asset management teams on various financial and operational issues. She is also assisting EIF’s legal group regarding the Firm’s investment advisor registration and compliance requirements pursuant to the Dodd-Frank Act. Ms. Reese has over 23 years of experience in financial analysis and accounting. Before joining EIF, Ms. Reese worked as interim Controller for a commercial real estate firm in Boston. Prior to this, she worked at Coopers & Lybrand. Ms. Reese received a B.A. from Suffolk University. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of both the American Institute of CPAs and the Massachusetts Society of CPAs.
