Christian Thaler-Wolski

Bio

Christian joined the Wellington team in late 2009 as an advisor. He focuses on working with the Digital Media and Software investment team on identifying exciting later stage investment opportunities and building relationships with the great entrepreneurs behind these companies. Christian brings entrepreneurial and industry experience to his new job. He started his career at one of the global leaders in the software industry, Oracle. In 2007 he joined the management team of Career Concept AG as the Director of Business Development. In this position, he pushed forward the development of this German-based startup to an innovative player in the field of student loans. Before strengthening the Wellington team, he already gained rich insights and experience in the European VC business by working for an established German player in this field. Christian holds a MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, and has studied economics in Budapest and Toronto.
