David E. Johnson is a Vice President in Global Market Strategies. He is based in New York. Since joining Carlyle in 2010, Mr. Johnson has been actively involved with Carlyle’s investments in Claren Road Asset Management and Emerging Sovereign Group. Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Johnson was a Vice President at Morgan Stanley. Mr. Johnson received an A.B. in applied mathematics, with a specialization in economics, from Harvard University and an S.M. in applied mathematics, with a specialization in decision and control theory, from Harvard University.
