Bio

Mr Yoo is an Associate in Globespan Capital Partners' Palo Alto office, where he focuses on communications, semiconductor and software investments. Prior to Globespan, Mr Yoo was an associate in the Corporate Development group at Cisco Systems where he focused on venture investments and acquisitions in the video, consumer, and optics markets. His acquisition experience at Cisco includes Linksys, Active Voice, and Exio. Mr Yoo also worked on a number of investments and served as board observer at Acelo Semiconductor, Ubicom and Cogency Semiconductor. He also worked on strategic planning for emerging businesses within Cisco. Prior to Cisco, Mr Yoo worked for Mercer Management Consulting and held a business development role at an internet startup. He also worked or US Cellular as a network engineer, helping to build the first CDMA-based wireless network in the Chicago area. Mr Yoo received a BS in Mathematical and Computational Science from Stanford University where he graduated with honors.
