Bio
Kurt is a Vice President at Insight Equity. Prior to joining Insight Equity, Kurt was the CFO of Sportexe Holdings. While at Sportexe Holdings, Kurt was involved in several lender transactions and also helped to lead the successful divestiture of this asset. Kurt has also held similar positions at other Insight Equity portfolio investments. Prior to Sportexe Holdings, Kurt worked at Bain & Company as a Case Team Leader and also in a large, family-owned multi-national corporation in various roles both domestically and in Europe. In these positions, Kurt has worked on business strategy, operations, restructurings, M&A, sales, and process improvements in the consumer products, automotive, wireless, pulp and paper, distribution, MRO, wind, and chemical industries. Kurt received his MBA from The Wharton Business School in Finance and Strategic Management. While at Wharton, Kurt worked with the regional Small Business Development Center filling a critical need in helping local community businesses on lending, marketing, sales, and valuation activities across a wide range of industries. Kurt graduated Cum Laude from Florida State University where he received his B.S. in Management Information Systems.
