Mr. Wilson is a Member of Cordova Ventures VI and the president of L. Edward Wilson and Associates, Inc., a management advisory firm recognized in the areas of design, construction, project development and finance. A registered professional engineer in nineteen states, Mr. Wilson was the founder of the EDGe Group, which became one of the nations largest civil, geotechnical and environmental engineering firms. In 1987, he sold the EDGe Group to a large public company specializing in environmental and energy related businesses. In 1989, Mr. Wilson became CEO of OSCO Environmental Management ("OSCO"), an emerging hazardous waste treatment, transportation, disposal and remedial contracting company. As CEO of OSCO, he directed the permitting, design, financing, construction and successful operation of the most advanced biological treatment facility for hazardous organic wastes in the United States. In 1992, he sold OSCO to Laidlaw Environmental Services. Throughout his career, Mr. Wilson has been responsible for the development of numerous engineering projects of substantial scope both his own account and as a principal advisor or consultant for others. He has been instrumental in successful private and public financing efforts to support the development of various innovative projects and technologies throughout the United States. Mr. Wilson was one of the early investors and directors of Sirrom Capital Corporation (NYSE: SIR), a specialty finance company, and he currently serves on the boards of several of the country's largest and most prestigious design and construction firms. He is a civil engineering graduate of Tennessee Technological University where he was awarded the Engineer of Distinction Citation in 1989. Mr. Wilson currently serves on the Board of Engineering Advisors for Tennessee Tech.
