Michael Wölfle

Bio

Michael Wölfle joined Wellington Partners in 2002. He supports the firm's portfolio companies, especially in connection with sales and marketing and also sits on the supervisory board of Questico AG. Since April 2000, Michael has headed up his own seed financing company, Cuneo AG, which is currently invested in eight companies from the media and media technology sector. Prior to his entrepreneurship, Michael served on the executive board of ProSieben Media AG in Munich from 1989 to 1999 and took part in their IPO. He was responsible for national and international advertising sales and multimedia. During his sales and marketing career at the company, he turned ProSieben into Germany's most successful cable and satellite TV channel. Before joining ProSieben Media AG, Michael had served as a sales manager with Tele5 Televisions GmbH (1986-1989) and as a consultant with Kienbaum Management Consultants (1984-1985, focus on media projects) and SIPA Unternehmens-Beratung in Berlin (1982-1984). Holds a Master's degree.
