Michal Petrzela

Bio

Michal Petrzela is a Principal at Lightyear Capital. He evaluates and executes new deals and also helps monitor Lightyear Capital's investment in Higher One Holdings, Inc. Prior to rejoining Lightyear Capital in August 2005 after working as a Summer Associate in 2004, Mr. Petrzela worked at Barclays Capital in London in the Financial Institutions Group, where he helped to develop a balance sheet advisory practice. Prior to Barclays, Mr. Petrzela was at Credit Suisse in New York, also in the Financial Institutions Group, where he advised on mergers and acquisitions in both the United States and Europe. Mr. Petrzela began his career at Arthur Andersen as a consultant in the Financial Markets practice. Mr. Petrzela graduated cum laude from Syracuse University with a B.S. in Accounting and Finance and received an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
