Mohan Umakant Deshpande

Bio

Mr. Deshpande holds the degree of B.E. from Nagpur University (1964) and the degree of M.Tech, IIT Delhi (1967), doctorate from Nagpur University (1974). He has also held the position of Director of VNIT Nagpur from 1967-20002, and IIT Mumbai from 2002-2006. He has also served as the Director, Distance Education Council (DEC) at IGNOU, in 1997-98 his experience in operationalizing the system, of grant in aid to the State Open Universities along with his Involvement in enhancing quality processes through focused interaction with the industry and Research and Development institutions will help in making a conscious decision on the fund requirements, scalability of business of the investee companies.
