As an investment director, Oliver leads new and follow-on investments for MMC. He also supports a number of the MMC portfolio companies. Oliver has a broad range of experience in originating, acquiring and leading technology businesses. He spent over five years at Monitise where he was involved in six acquisitions and saw the company scale from under 100 to over 1,400 people in three years and ultimately get acquired by Fiserv. He was MD of Monitise Create (formerly Grapple Mobile) and Monitise Content (formerly Marko Media). He originated the acquisition of Monitise Content, led the due diligence and executed a business plan that delivered a 80% CAGR in revenues, over two years. Most recently, Oliver worked as COO of a fast growth marketing SaaS company where he built out the sales and marketing capabilities and led sales across Europe. Oliver’s venture capital experience was gained as a venture partner with Blue Bear Capital and worked with them on technology investment across the U.S. Oliver started his career at Deloitte where he ran commercial due diligence and strategy consulting engagements across a broad range of industries, with a focus on financial services. He received his M.B.A. with distinction from Columbia Business School and London Business School through a joint degree programme.
