Paul Arent

Bio

Paul has over 10 years experience in private equity advisory, corporate finance and management consulting. As a placement agent, he has been involved in successfully raising capital in excess of €1 billion for leading mid-market firms in CEE, France, Germany and Scandinavia. At Acanthus, Paul is in charge of managing the team and advices General Partners in their fundraising efforts while covering key investors in Scandinavia, the Netherlands and Germany. Prior to joining Acanthus, Paul was working at Deloitte’s Fund Placement Advisory Group headquartered in London. Paul led and was involved in a number of fundraising mandates in the mid-market space. He was responsible for the European placement team and advised clients in Europe, CEE and Asia. Paul started his career as a management consultant with Roland Berger covering a large spectrum of industries and countries such as France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland as well as the Middle East. Paul holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the European Business School in Germany. He is fluent in English, French and German.
