Paulette Taylor joined Sanderling as General Counsel in December, 1996, and is responsible for Sanderling's legal activities and assignments with Sanderling portfolio companies, as well as serving as Human Resources Director. Prior to Ms. Taylor's association with Sanderling, she was Counsel for Alumax Inc. from 1975-1989 with responsibilities that included negotiating corporate structure agreements and other related financial negotiations and contracts. From 1989-1990 Ms. Taylor was an Associate with the law firm of Farella, Braun and Martel, where she practiced general corporate law with emphasis in real property and electric power law. From 1990 to 1996 she worked as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of National Insurance Group, developing corporate strategy to address market conditions, new product analysis, potential corporate ventures and acquisition opportunities, while managing and negotiating legal contracts and maintaining compliance with regulatory laws and directives governing securities and contract administration. She earned her J.D. degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law and a BA in English Literature from the University of Washington.
