Founded Smedvig Capital in 1996 with John Hewett and has been Chairman since its inception. In addition, is Chairman of the Smedvig Group of companies including Smedvig Property and the Smedvig family office in Stavanger, Norway. Until recently, also chaired the NYSE listed Smedvig asa, an international oil field services business. Has a track record of over thirty years of successful industrial and venture investing. Over that time, has accumulated extensive operational experience in a variety of general management positions. Board member at Almondy (Chairman) and Trefoil. MBA from the Wharton School of Business.
