Bio

Bob has brought more than 25 years of consulting, investment banking and operating experience to Sienna and has been actively involved with several Sienna portfolio companies including: Protocol, MobileStar Network, Plansponsor, Epana Networks and Ranch Networks. Bob holds board positions at Correlate Technology, Wired Business, Protocol, Ranch and Epana. Prior to joining Sienna, Bob was president of Voyager Capital, an early stage technology investment firm that he started in 1997, with an emphasis on communications and the Internet. Formerly a senior partner at McKinsey & Company, Bob was responsible for founding and overseeing the firm's Global Technology Consulting Practice. Bob also served as a Managing Director at First Boston Corporation where he was responsible for the Technology Investment Banking Group. Some of Bob's clients at McKinsey and First Boston included Xerox, Rockwell, TRW, Siemens, Toshiba, Pacific Telesis, Apple and IBM. After leaving First Boston, Bob served as CFO of Indigo N.V. and CEO of Indigo America, a publicly traded printing technology company. Bob received his MBA from Harvard University and his BS and MS in atomic physics at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He has served on the boards of the Chadwick School and the Georgia Tech College of Computing, and was chairman of the Georgia Tech National Advisory Board.
