Robert Womsley

Bio

Robert has more than 20 years of global investment experience. Prior to joining Water Street, he was a Senior Partner with Citi Private Equity, which managed more than $13 billion of direct private equity investments globally. As Head of European operations, Robert led Citi Private Equity to complete more than $1 billion of direct investments across a variety of industries. He was promoted to a number of senior executive positions during his career at Citi including serving as Global Head of its Private Equity Placement group. Previously, Robert was a Managing Director in the Sponsor Coverage group and the Chicago Investment Banking group. Robert received his bachelor’s degree from Vanderbilt University, and his MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
