Salvatore Gentile

Bio

Mr Gentile is a Senior Managing Director and a Co- Founder of the Corporate Debt Group. Since joining Blackstone in 1999, Mr Gentile has been responsible for overseeing all underwriting and portfolio management activities. Before joining Blackstone, Mr Gentile was a Director of Nomura's Leveraged Capital Group, where he headed the underwriting, documentation and ongoing management of the group’s investments. From 1989 to 1994, Mr Gentile was a Vice President at Alliance Capital Management LP’s corporate finance group. Prior to that, Mr Gentile was a Senior Accountant (Certified Public Accountant) with KPMG Peat Marwick. Received a BS from the State University of New York at Albany, where he graduated magna cum laude and received an MBA from Columbia Business School.
