Bio

Simon is a Partner at MMC Ventures, having joined in 2011. He leads the investment team and supports a number of MMC portfolio companies. Simon sits on the Board at Brightpearl, DigitalGenius, Masabi, MUBI, Senseye, Signal and Sky-Futures, and works with a number of other MMC portfolio companies including Appear Here, Interactive Investor and Opal. He is especially focused on SaaS and other B2B companies solving large real-world business problems. This takes him across a variety of markets including fintech, information and analytics, retail, transit and industrial tech. He believes AI technologies and cutting-edge data science will bring increasingly rapid change to all of these, and spends a lot of his time meeting companies leading the charge or creating the tools. Simon also leads the MMC London Fund, an early-stage fund managed by MMC in partnership with the Mayor of London. Simon’s background is in tech and media strategy consulting at Deloitte. He previously started an IT consulting business and holds a degree in Physics and Space Research.
