Bio

Joined European Capital in 2006 as a Director in the UK Buyout Team. Was formerly a Director at CSFB Private Equity, joining in 1996. At CSFB Private Equity, was responsible for the origination, execution, monitoring and realisation of UK and European buyouts. Recent investments include the € 2.3 billion acquisition of Dynamit Nobel and its merger with Rockwood Holdings, which has successfully exited by flotation on the NYSE and the € 1.2 billion acquisition of Nycomed, which has also attained a successful exit through a sale to another private equity firm. Served on the Boards of numerous portfolio companies in the UK, Europe and the US ranging in size from startups to revenues of over $3 billion. Prior to time at CSFB Private Equity, was with Arthur Andersen Corporate Finance joining in 1993 and advised on UK buyouts. Previously, worked with Price Waterhouse in the corporate finance team and joined in 1988 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1991.
