Alexander Rossi

Bio

Alexander Rossi has over 17 years of investment banking experience in the U.S. and Latin America. Alex joined Communications Equity Associates ("CEA") in March 1996, where he has originated and executed several mergers & acquisitions transactions, private equity and debt financings and financial advisory assignments for emerging media, communications and technology companies in the U.S. and Latin America. Previously a Vice President at Bancomer Securities International, a Mexican investment bank, Alex focused on Latin American Mergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Finance transactions. Prior to that, Alex was an Associate with the Latin American Group at Smith Barney, Inc. Additionally, Alex spent two years in Argentina with the investment banking firm, Prefinex S.A. He was trained as an Analyst in Corporate Finance at PaineWebber Incorporated, where he spent two years. Alex has completed mergers & acquisition and financing transactions with an aggregate value in excess of $4.0 billion, has spoken at several industry conferences and is a board member of several companies and organizations as well as a Founding Partner and board member of Latin Idea Ventures, LLC, a Mexican venture capital fund manager. Alex received a Master of Business Administration degree from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Art History from Williams College. He is fluent in Spanish and English.
