Chris Loh

Bio

Chris Loh joined Axiom Asia in August 2009. Prior to that, he had nine years of private equity experience with GIC Special Investments, spending the first two years in the Singapore office and the next seven years in the San Francisco bay area office. Chris led due diligence and investments in venture capital, growth capital, buyout and secondary funds in the US and Asia. He was also involved in four direct investments in high-tech startups — two went public and two were acquired. He was promoted to Vice President from Assistant Vice President. Chris was awarded the Monbusho Scholarship jointly by the Singapore Government and the Japanese Ministry of Education. He earned a Bachelor of Electronics Engineering degree from the University of Tokyo and completed two master programs (an MBA and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering) at the National University of Singapore. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder. Chris is fluent in English, Mandarin and Japanese.
