Bio

Eric B. Brotman is a Principal in the Investor Relations Management Group focused on Carlyle’s Global Market Strategies business. He is based in New York. Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Brotman was an Executive Director and the U.S. Head of Business Consulting Services for hedge funds within the UBS Investment Bank’s Prime Brokerage Group. Prior to that, Mr. Brotman was the Head of Product Development & Management for UBS’s Alternative Investment Group, where he was also a member of the Investment Committee. Prior to joining UBS, Mr. Brotman was an associate in the Corporate Department of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP. Mr. Brotman received his J.D., with distinction, from the Hofstra University School of Law where he was a Research Editor for the Hofstra Law Review. He is admitted to practice in both New York and Florida. Mr. Brotman received his B.A. from the State University of New York at Albany. Mr. Brotman holds both Series 7 and 66 licenses.
