Joined Advent in 1997, moving from the London office of investment bank Baring Brothers and advised clients on various international mergers and acquisitions. Prior to that worked in the New York offices of Dillon, Read & Co, then an affiliate of Barings, focusing on transatlantic transactions. Also worked in Barings’ Paris office. Responsible for the business and financial services sector team in Europe. MA in geography, specialising in economic and political geography, from Cambridge University.
