Joined Actis in 2007 as Chief Operating Officer, with overall responsibility for the non-investment related parts of Actis' business. Began career as a lawyer with London law firm Theodore Goddard and then with Mark McCormack's IMG. Spent three years at WPP's Ogilvy and Mather as Vice Chairman, Ogilvy UK. In 2002, joined the Interpublic Group Inc (IPG), as Chief Operating Officer, UK for its subsidiary Weber Shandwick Worldwide and in 2003 was appointed Chief Operating Officer, Europe, for Weber Shandwick and IPG's group of companies including FutureBrand and Golin/Harris. Was featured by Management Today Magazine as one of "35 Leading Women under 35". In 2005, was featured by The Observer as one of "80 European Women To Watch". Was selected by the World Economic Forum as a Global Leader for Tomorrow. Educated in Australia, Germany and England. She holds a law degree from Cambridge university, a Licentiate from the Royal Academy of Music and an MBA from London Business School.
