Louis Colosimo

Bio

Louis is responsible for Marketing, Fund Raising and Client Service at The ComVest Group. Previously he was a Managing Director and senior member of the Private Equity Fund Advisory and Marketing Group at Lehman Brothers/Neuberger Investment Management. Prior to joining that group in 2008, he had been a senior member of the Insurance and Pension Solutions Group since joining the firm, providing senior level (CIO and CFO) strategic coverage of insurance company and pension clients. Prior to joining Lehman in 2005, Mr. Colosimo was a Managing Director in the Insurance Solutions and Client Management Group of J.P. Morgan Securities, similarly responsible for providing senior level coverage of insurance company clients. Prior to joining J.P. Morgan Securities, Louis was a Managing Director at Morgan Stanley & Co. for 11 years, the last two years as a member of the Insurance Solutions and Senior Relationship Management Group, and prior to that in Securitized Products and Head of CMBS Capital Markets. He practiced real estate and banking law for two years before beginning his Wall Street career in the mortgage-backed securities department of Salomon Brothers in 1984. Louis had served for two years as the Chairman of the Commercial Mortgage Loan Securitization Committee of the Bond Market Association. He is currently on the Board of Trustees of Fairfield Country Day School in Fairfield, Connecticut. He holds a B.A. degree from Fordham University, and a J.D. from Fordham Law School.
