Brings 23 years of experience to the firm and is responsible for origination of investment opportunities across all of the firm’s sectors in Europe, Russia, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. Member of the Management Committee, Investment Committee, and Valuation Committee. Prior to joining the team, was Managing Director for the International Energy Group at Nomura International after acting as the Head of Continental European Energy & Utilities for Credit Suisse First Boston, Head of International Business Development for Eskom International, Africa’s largest utility, and Manager of Corporate Investment Strategy at private equity investment house the Industrial Development Corporation of South Africa. Bachelor of Commerce, a Bachelor of Commerce Honors and a Master of Commerce from University of the Free State in South Africa. Doctor of Commerce in Economics from Rand Afrikaans University in South Africa. Master of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame Business School. HD in Company Law from the University of the Witwatersrand Law School. ADP from London Business School.
