Mark Benfold

Bio

Mark joined Railpen in 2004 and is responsible for the regular monitoring of the market risk of the investment portfolios and the use of derivative investments by the investment managers. Mark has worked in the investment management industry since 1986. Prior to joining Railpen, Mark held senior positions in risk management and as a bond portfolio manager. He also has extensive experience in the research and development of quantitative investment models. Mark holds an MA in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge. Mark is also a CFA charterholder.
