Oliver Frey

Bio

Mr Frey joined AEA in 2009 as a Partner in their Munich office. He focuses on value-added industrial, services and consumer opportunities in Europe. Prior to AEA, Mr Frey was a Partner at CINVEN in London and Frankfurt, and a member of the managing board of Allianz Capital Partners in Munich. He was involved or led the following buyout investments or served as a director of the boards of Klöckner Pentaplast Packaging, Neoplastica Packaging, Springer Publishing, CBR Apparel Retailer, Sdu Publishing (Den Hague), Juris (Berlin), Sdu Passport Identification (Amsterdam), Euromedia Broadcasting (Paris), and Ionbond Automotive (Zürich). Prior to this, Mr Frey worked in Investment Banking/M&A at Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt and MeesPierson/ABN AMRO in Amsterdam. Mr Frey received an MS in economics and finance from Stuttgart University and an MBA from Rotterdam School of Management. He also participated in the advanced management program at INSEAD in Paris.
