Bio
Is a Managing Director based in the London office, a member of the European Executive Committee and leads Barclays Private Equity's financial services team. Initially joined Barclays Private Equity in 1995 as a Regional Director in the North and joined the London team in 1999. Mainly focuses on the Financial Services sector and prior to Barclays, was previously with 3i. Has led seven £100m plus private equity transactions in this sector: the buyouts of Global Refund, A-Plan, FirstAssist, Admiral Group, Cabot Financial and Preferred Mortgages and the buy-in of Clydesdale Financial Services. On the boards of A-Plan, FirstAssist and Global Refund.
