Bio

Paul Mitchell is a founding partner of Active. Paul spent seven years as a structural engineer, firstly with Balfour Beatty and subsequently with Ove Arup and Partners, Consulting Engineers, leaving the latter in 1984 as a Senior Project Engineer. After graduating from Harvard, he joined the London office of The Boston Consulting Group in 1986. He became a partner in 1993 and head of the UK and Russian offices in 1996. Throughout his time at BCG, Paul worked with senior management teams to create and implement winning strategies. Since 1999 Paul has been leading, building and investing in a broad range of businesses. He is currently executive chairman of Deliverance, and a non-executive director of UK procure and iMPOWER. Paul is a chartered Civil and chartered Structural engineer. He graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 1977 with a BSc in Civil and Structural Engineering (summa cum laude) and in 1986 from Harvard Business School with an MBA (with Distinction).
