Peter Holden

Bio

Prior to joining Coller Capital in 2006, Peter spent 17 years leveraging research and technology assets from corporations, research centres and universities worldwide. His experience has included senior positions at: Panasonic (in Osaka, Japan); IPVALUE Management (in Palo Alto, CA); University Patents (in Westport, CT); and Invisible Hand LLC ( New York, NY) – a $50 million seed fund that he founded and led. During this time, he managed over 150 spin-outs, startups and licensing programmes. Peter has dual US-UK citizenship and speaks conversational Japanese. Peter has a GEC-sponsored PhD from Cranfield Institute of Technology and a first class honours degree in Engineering & Management from Bradford University. He holds a Senior Industry Fellowship in corporate venturing at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and was awarded a Honda Fellowship in technology innovation by Tokyo University.
