Bio

Mr. Wagenknecht joined DDJ in 2004 and has more than 10 years of experience investing in debt and equity securities in the public and private markets. Mr. Wagenknecht is currently responsible for sourcing and managing equity investments across all industries in addition to managing and sourcing investments in the gaming, lodging and leisure industries. Mr. Wagenknecht has led numerous public and private financings and corporate restructurings of companies across a broad spectrum of industries. Prior to joining DDJ, Mr. Wagenknecht was an associate at Summit Partners, where he was responsible for sourcing, analyzing, and executing leveraged buyouts of middle-market companies. Prior to Summit, Mr. Wagenknecht was an analyst in the Financial Sponsors Group at UBS Warburg, LLC, where he analyzed and executed equity, bank debt, high yield, and mezzanine debt financings for the firms’ financial sponsor clients. Mr. Wagenknecht serves on the Alumni Council of the Kent School in Kent, Connecticut, and on the Mark Buttitta Memorial Scholarship Fund Selection Committee and currently serves on the Board of Directors of Telogy, LLC, and Champion Holdco, LLC. Mr. Wagenknecht received his MBA with Honors from Columbia University and his BA from Boston College. Mr. Wagenknecht is a CFA charter holder.
