Bio

Mr. Walker re-joined Monument in May 2011, after being a part of the team from 1999 - 2007. Mr. Walker currently serves as a Principal for the Company and is responsible for assisting the Controller with office administration, accounting and investor reporting. In addition, Mr. Walker is responsible for assisting in fundraising, deal sourcing and valuations. Mr. Walker was most recently the Senior Director of Finance and Administration for the Indiana Soybean Alliance. Among other things, Mr. Walker was responsible for managing the accounting, financial and administrative functions of the Alliance, the Indiana Corn Marketing Council and the Indiana Corn Growers Association. Prior to joining the Alliance, Mr. Walker was the Controller for the Ports of Indiana, a quasi-governmental organization that operates a statewide system of ports, foreign trade zones and economic development programs. Mr. Walker managed accounting and financial functions for the Ports, in addition to the ongoing operating and accounting systems implementations. Mr. Walker currently serves as Treasurer and Past President of a local based non-profit, The People’s Burn Foundation, and is a board member of the Finance and Advisory Board for the Department of Finance and Insurance at Ball State University. Mr. Walker completed his Masters of Professional Accountancy from Indiana University and has a Bachelor’s of Science in Finance from Ball State University.
