Curtis L. Buser is Carlyle’s Chief Accounting Officer and a Managing Director with responsibility for corporate accounting, partnership accounting and the firm’s valuation processes. Mr. Buser is based in Washington, D.C. Prior to joining Carlyle in September 2004, Mr. Buser was an audit partner with Ernst & Young, LLP. He began his career with Arthur Andersen in 1985 and was admitted to the partnership in 1997. Mr. Buser served on the Financial Accounting Standards Advisory Council from 2007 to 2010 and served on the boards of the Fairfax Symphony Orchestra and Northern Virginia Family Services from 2009 to 2011. He is a graduate of Georgetown University.
