Has 18 years’ experience in M&A as both an investment banker and a lawyer. Has extensive experience of advising private equity investors in a broad range of sectors. Recent transactions include advising Guardian Media Group on the sale of its regional media interests, advising Warburg Pincus on its acquisition of Safetykleen, and advising Pension Corporation on its acquisition of telent plc. Other relevant leisure sector experience includes advising Compagnie Financière Richemont on its acquisition of the minority interest in Vendôme plc. Prior to joining GLP, spent 5 years at Merrill Lynch in New York and London, where latterly he was a Director in the Financial Sponsors investment banking team. Prior to that, worked in Deutsche Bank’s M&A team in London and New York and prior to that he practiced as a corporate lawyer in London. Bachelor of Law Honours degree and holds a Diploma in Legal Practice, both from the University of Aberdeen.
