James J Connors

Bio

James J. Connors, II joined Kelso in 1993 and serves as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. He spent the preceding six years as an Associate with Debevoise & Plimpton, working primarily in their mergers and acquisitions group and securities practice group. Mr. Connors is currently a director of Custom Building Products, Inc. Other past directorships include Harris Specialty Chemicals, Inc. and Scient, Inc. (iXL). He earned a J.D. from the University of Virginia, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif and the Law Review, in 1987. He received a B.A. in History from The College of William and Mary in 1984. He is a member of the American Bar Association and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.
