Over 11 years with EVP or previous management companies. Investment Director of GIMV, a leading Belgian private equity company, responsible for all operations in Central and Eastern Europe. Extensive private equity experience in the region and to a lesser extent in the US and Asia. Age 48, studied Civil Engineer (1982) and Industrial Policy (1983) at the KU Leuven. Before joining GIMV in 1989, he worked for 5 years for KBC Bank in Brussels, Bremen and New York. During his professional career he completed several courses, including Corporate Financial Strategy at INSEAD, Fontainebleau and various EVCA courses.
