Joe Kell

Bio

Joe joined Newbury in July 2008 and is primarily responsible for maintaining the firm's accounting systems, reporting functions, and investor relations. Prior to joining Newbury, Joe was an audit manager in the Technology Assurance and Advisory Group at Ireland San Filippo, LLP. While there, Joe worked with privately-held clients in a variety of technology-related industries including venture capital, software, semiconductor, and device designers and manufacturers. His experience encompasses issues relevant to both venture capital and technology companies, including industry specific accounting considerations such as fair market value, software revenue recognition, and stock based compensation. Joe graduated from Saint Mary's College in 2001 with a BS in Business Administration and a minor in Accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
