Laurie Deaton is a Principal at Hall Capital Partners LLC focusing on Business Development. Ms. Deaton has more than 20 years of experience working in the investment management industry. Prior to joining Hall Capital in 2011, Ms. Deaton was Vice President of Institutional Services with Loomis, Sayles & Company in San Francisco. Her role involved working with investors to determine how Loomis, Sayles could aid in the implementation of their investment agenda. Previously, she spent eight years with Wellington Management Company as a Vice President and Associate Partner, representing traditional and alternative investment strategies to institutions and family offices. She also worked with institutional investors and their investment consultants at Oppenheimer Capital and Barrow, Hanley, Mewhinney and Strauss. Ms. Deaton began her investment career at Pacific Enterprises in Los Angeles where she oversaw the management of a $2 billion pension fund and also invested a large portfolio of operating assets. Ms. Deaton is a board member of the Girl Scouts of Northern California as well as a member of the Investment and Finance Committees. She holds both a B.S. in Business and an M.B.A. from Pepperdine University. She is a member of the CFA Institute and is a holder of the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
