Bio

Mr. Sweetser is a Managing Partner of Helios Capital LP (“Helios”). Prior to forming Helios and the North Texas Opportunity Fund, Mr. Sweetser spent ten years as a Managing Director of Lewis Hollingsworth LP, a private equity firm located in Dallas, TX. Mr. Sweetser is actively involved in the oversight and leadership of the Partnership’s portfolio companies. In this role, he concentrates on the areas of business growth, operations analysis and improvement, acquisition integration, and major transformation and strategic planning programs. Mr. Sweetser is a director of several of NTOF’s investments including InStaff Personnel and PrimeSource FoodService Equipment. Mr. Sweetser also serves on the board of several civic and community organizations having served as a director for the City of Dallas Housing Finance Corporation since 1994 and its Chief Investment Officer since 1996. Mr. Sweetser is also a Director of the Dallas-Fort Worth Private Equity Forum and a member of the National Venture Capital Association. Originally from Harlingen, Texas, Mr. Sweetser holds an undergraduate degree from Harvard University where he was a Harvard College Scholar. He holds the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst from the Association of Investment Management and Research.
