Matthew D Burns

Bio

Matt Burns is a Vice President at Hall Capital Partners LLC and a member of the firm's Portfolio Management practice. Mr. Burns joined the firm in 1999 and has held several roles. He began his career with the firm as an Analyst, was promoted to Associate in 2001, and advanced to Vice President in 2007. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Burns managed the Equities Trading Desk for West Coast Capital, an equities hedge fund, investing proprietary capital on the options floor of the Pacific Exchange. Mr. Burns currently serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for Sitike Counseling Center. He holds a B.A. in English from the University of California at Berkeley and an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of The University of Pennsylvania.
