Michael Lythcott

Bio

Mr Lythcott plays a critical role at Uplift in evaluating and structuring potential investment opportunities, with a specific emphasis on operational and financial issues, including historical and prospective financial profitability, quality of earnings and working capital utilization. Mr Lythcott has over 8 years of operational, private equity and investment banking experience, and has been involved in private equity investments totaling over $65 million. He was most recently with Bear Stearns, where he led cross-functional teams from Asset Management, Private Client Services and Structured Equities. Mr Lythcott successfully received advisory mandates for more than 25 direct investment and limited partnership transactions worth in excess of $500 million. Prior to joining Bear Stearns, Mr Lythcott was the co-founder, Chairman and CEO of PureAdvice Inc, a financial services and educational software company that he helped grow from 3 employees to over 100 and acquired two private firms. Mr Lythcott received a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA with Honors from Columbia Business School.
