Myles P Gilbert

Bio

Myles P. Gilbert is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Ironside Capital Group and its affiliates. He is responsible for daily operations, portfolio company management, and transaction origination in each of the Firm's business sectors. He is also a member of the firm's investment committee. Myles brings over twenty years of experience in the venture capital and banking fields. Prior to co-founding Ironside, and its predecessor, MF Private Capital, Myles had a long-standing career with Citizens Financial Group, Inc., the U.S. banking subsidiary of The Royal Bank of Scotland Group. He was a Senior Vice President in the company's Corporate Banking Group and President and Chief Executive Officer of the bank's commercial asset finance subsidiary serving large companies and middle market businesses nationwide. He has been engaged in companies such as NewRiver, Inc.; V-SPAN, Inc. (acquired by WireOne, Inc.); Bluesocket, Inc.; Metastorm, Inc., and SilverBack Technologies, Inc. He also serves on the Board of Trustees of the Boston Children's Museum. Myles received his B.A. with honors from Wesleyan University in 1985, and his M.B.A. from the University of Rhode Island in 1991.
