Bio

Prior to joining Eastgate, he was a Partner with McKinsey & Company, where he spent eight years successively in their Paris, Madrid and Dubai offices. While at McKinsey, he served leading international and regional firms. He co-founded the Islamic Banking practice at McKinsey and co-authored several articles in the McKinsey Quarterly on this topic. He was a leader of the financial services and retail practices in the Middle East and North Africa region. He was also co-leader of the Emerging Markets Financial Services practice at McKinsey. Prior to joining McKinsey, he was Regional Director of the Middle East and South Asia for TAG Heuer (LVMH group) where he set up and operated their Middle East and India/Pakistan businesses. Previously, he has worked at Ernst & Young in London and Paris in the Financial Services Group and at the United Nations in Geneva. Masters in Management Science (MSc) from École des Hautes Études Commerciales (HEC) in Paris.
