Paul Newton

Bio

Qualified with KPMG in 1988. In 1991 was a founder Director of the private equity backed Davenham Group, which he left in 1994 to help establish the Royal Bank of Scotland’s leveraged finance activities. In 1999 was recruited to run Murray Johnstone’s (now Aberdeen Asset Management) North West office, which he did until he left to establish MPE in 2006. Has extensive experience of all aspects of private equity transactions, post investment management and corporate finance. Chartered Accountant.
