Bio

Has over 25 years experience in the UK stockmarket having trained as an investment manager at James Capel in 1980. Has managed the listings of a considerable number of companies during his career. Joined Schroders' in 1996 as one of the founders of their UK securities business. This was sold in 2000 to Citigroup as part of its purchase of Schroders investment banking business. Then became Head of European Equities at Citigroup. More recently, partnered with Lazard to acquire Panmure Gordon & Co and then merged this business with Durlacher, to create a leading corporate and institutional broker. Non-executive Director of Archant plc.
