Stuart Barkoff

Bio

Mr Stuart Barkoff is a Managing Director on the United States Growth team at GEF. He has worked closely with several of GEF’s U.S. portfolio companies focused on renewable energy, and he provides expertise on legal structuring for GEF’s United States portfolio companies. Prior to joining GEF, Mr Barkoff was an attorney with Arnold & Porter LLP, an international law firm based in Washington, D C, where he worked principally with private equity and venture capital funds, and their portfolio companies, on a wide variety of acquisitions and investments. At Arnold [amp] Porter, Mr Barkoff advised GEF as legal counsel on many of GEF’s investments. Mr Barkoff earned his J D and his M B A, with honors, from Emory University, and his A B from Vassar College.
