Terry Harris

Bio

Mr. Terry Harris is a Partner at Tower Three Partners LLC. Prior to that, he was a Senior Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer at FirstLight Financial Corporation. In addition to hiring and managing a staff which reached over 20 investment management and loan operations professionals, Mr. Harris chaired the investment committee, developed policies and procedures, led the development of a proprietary portfolio management system and was primarily responsible for managing the firm’s $800 million warehouse line and lender relationships. Prior to that, he served as the Head of the Telecom, Media & Technology Finance Group at Silver Point Capital. Prior to Silver Point, Mr. Harris served as the Managing Director for Risk/Chief Risk Officer at GE Media, Communications & Entertainment. As the Global Media & Communications Risk Leader, he oversaw all underwriting and portfolio management. Mr. Harris had joined GE in 2000 and served as Segment Risk Officer for a portfolio of loans in the media and communications sectors as well as led the formation of a specialized group focused on financing technology companies. From 1997 to 2000, he served with the Healthcare Capital Division of Bank of America Commercial Finance, where Mr. Harris served as the division's Senior Credit Officer. From 1991 to 1997, he was the Region Credit Manager and one of the original employees at Transamerica Business Credit. Mr. Harris began his career with four years at Price Waterhouse. He has over 20 years of middle market corporate finance and credit experience spanning a range of industries and products across multiple business cycles. Mr. Harris is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a BS degree in Accounting and an MBA degree from Florida State University.
